Rebecca is one of the great relatively undiscovered talents. I first saw her on a PBS special "Great Performances: My Favorite Broadway - The Leading Ladies" (1991), wherein Julie Andrews introduced her to sing Richard Rodgers' "Falling In Love With Love". Beautifully done, as this number is. I wish she would record my latest upload, "If I Loved You". Cordially, John

@jnewmark41 But only the famous Rebecca Luker, of course! Says so in the title and description.

Is it a possibility to post the overture to this production?
-
There is an original cast album of this revival. I own it. It was recorded while the show was previewing in Toronto. It's out of production, but you can pick up a copy on Amazon and at some other sites.

could you upload the version julie sings from this recording?

What I would give to see a recording of the original cast of this revival.

@roccoh21 Actually she's been nominated three times. But, I agree, she is fantastic.
-
actually she has been nominated for a Tony 3xs!!!

"Undiscovered" is a relative term with respect to Rebecca, roccoh21. It's just that she deserves more deserved exposure and fame as a tasteful measure in bringing music back, as opposed to the talent-challenged and pointless existence of the Britney Spears, Ga Ga Girls, et al paradigms of this world. Regards, John

WHAT A VOICE!!! WHO IS SHE?!
-
Undiscovered? Hardly. She was nominated 2x for a Tony, appeared in major shows like Phantom and The Secret Garden and The Sound of Music. She is magnificent.
beautiful voice indeed. just a query with the tag. in the show, this song is sung by Julie rather than Magnolia

Julie sings the song (long version) in Act1, then Act2 Magnolia sings it at her audition to replace Julie on the show.
