Halo Reach - Xbox 360 - Extended Birth of a Spartan live action official video game trailer HD

Remember the live-action advert for Halo 3: ODST last year? It's regarded as one of the best videogame ads ever made, and now Microsoft is trying the same marketing trick again. Birth of a Spartan is a live-action short for Halo: Reach by award-winning director Noam Murro. Giving viewers a unique look into the origins of a central character in Bungie's upcoming Xbox 360 game, this extended version of the original 60-second TV ad depicts the transformation of Carter 259, the future leader of Noble Team in Halo: Reach, from an ordinary young man to a superhuman Spartan warrior. The highly classified bio-augmentation procedure is a Spartan candidate's final and most difficult ordeal before joining the ranks of Halo's legendary soldiers. Additionally, Halo fans can now upload a photo of themselves at www.welcometonobleteam.com and get an image created of them as a Spartan III.

Access to Halo: Reach's multiplayer beta will be available on May 3rd through the Halo 3: ODST game disc on Xbox LIVE. Join the members of Noble Team and sample new loadouts and gameplay modes like Invasion, Headhunter and Spartans vs. Elites. halo.xbox.com

Spartan IIs were hardcore Spartan IIIs had balls I mean how many people could volunteer for genetic enhancements and rigorous training knowing that they were essentially suicide squads with the sole purpose of extending the duration of the war.
