Jessie Daniels is absolutely amazing. In the time that I was depressed I just listened to her and her songs gave me hope and this song was one of the really special ones about us being with Jesus everyday and nothing can keep us away from him, no people, no things and definitely not the devil. :)

Perhaps it is, perhaps it isn't. What people choose to believe is their own choice. I do not know whether it "is about God" or "someone's relationship to another" since I do not know the one who wrote it. Perhaps I'm making myself out to sound a fool but, if a song helps heal or give encouragement in a way that "was not written for" could you say "that is not what the song is about" and truly feel that is the case?

@michaelhuddleston ya it's about God talking to us.. i think some people think it's about our relationships with others. That's not what the song is about.

i hear this song and it really hits home. i recently had my heart shattered by someone i really care about. the pain was terrible and still is when i think about it. its a good song to uplift the spirits and i must have listened to it over a hundred times since it all happened.

This song represents the true heart of great songwriting. The chords are great, the lyrics are uplifting and at the same time deeply saddening, but it's Jesse Daniels' voice that is so hauntingly beautiful and emotionally charged with soul, pain and hope. This song moves and inspires me to be my best in my relationships with others, to be grateful for those relationships, and challenges me to be a better person in my own life everyday, to reach beyond myself to help others.

To me this is about Gods love for us. Although we put up barriers and try to hide, He is still there for us.
