He's a lot less scary looking than the pope is. Holding on to beliefs for no other reason than blind faith is what is truly childish, and indoctrinating children to believe that they will be horribly punished for all eternity if they don't believe it too is child abuse.

this was an awesome video shwanerd. I was a former catholic(not by choice, and back then i lacked the balls to rebel until I was around your age).

Intolerance. That's what you are.
Intolerance to other ppl, other ideas, other religions, presented by you, is a typical characteristic shared by violent fanatics in history.
If you accuse members of catholic church of stupidity, ignorance and cruelty, know that u r the same kind of person.

What about gruesome witch hunt executed by protestant ppl? Every religions have such history. It's very biased and malicious to pick on catholic church. i see u guys r totally brain washed.
I'm an atheist but i don't think catholic church is bad religion compared to other religions and medias.

We must remember that all the horrors that atheists detest about NT Christianity (ie the scriptures) was chosen, compiled, edited, translated, presented, and forceably imposed by the original Roman Catholic Church. After hundreds of years of inquisitions, torture, burnings, oppression (and abuse, some of which still happens today) the Catholic Church owes a great deal of of atonement for what it has done.

This was very dramatic. :P But still rings true. I can't think of anything that makes me more angry, than how religion takes advantage of the innocence of children. I don't believe Catholic parents have malicious intentions, but in some cases, harmful ignorance is enough to prosecute.

Would they listen if he were a polite, highly educated, middle aged gentleman in a suit and tie, speaking eloquently and only appealing to rationality and evidence?

You're completely dismissing the argument and instead use ad hominem as a counter.

This is so childish. What's with the silly voice over and mask? I'd bet money not one Catholic parent will see this, and if one did, they're not going to say "Yeah, this kid with the stupid mask is right! I'll stop being Catholic now."
What reading is this from? Anyway good, video.
