there is reason why it is very inappropriate for one culture to comment on another. once given a favor an american will give tip, a filipino will give gift, a korean will give bribe. when given a favor an asian will think you are their slave and will owe you nothing, an american will pay you for your efforts, a filipino will reciprocate you generosity. it is time we stop living to asian standards and be true to our islander traits- unafraid of the future and generous to a fault.

Such a gall of a korean giving advice to filipinos about patriotism. when the borneans invaded the philippines the natives fought back. when the chinese invaded,the natives fought back.when spain forgot about the terms of alliance the filipinos rebelled, and so with american annexation. when japan invaded we fought back. when japan invaded korea in WWII, they collapsed. japan captured their sons and used them as soldiers to invade asia. no amount of tough talk can change their history.

The writer of the message is tottaly right, the message should be passed, heard and acted upon, i wont waste my time here, commenting on why and what? nobody cares, neither should we, what happened, happened, whats left is change, change the way we think, change the way we want, examples are everywhere, but why should we be an example, why should we have to want anything from anybody else. Our country is corrupt, so what, havent we survived and survived time and time again.

The government here doesn't love it's people, that's the truth, Korea and Philippines is so different!! We are poor because there are no jobs here, the budget for education, budget for infrastructure, they are being stolen, you cannot just say love is the answer, we love our country, Our country is run by politicians, They are family dynasties, rich clan who owns large companies Electric companies, water companies, Oil companies which is monopolized!! they are the only one who get rich,
