simple truth is and was,the western germans could buy anything they wanted and needed,no need to repair or maintain something,the eastern german on the other hand,had to live with what they had and therefore became quiet sufficticated in repair and maintaining ,toss away culture (west) vs how i make it last culture (east)

in 2013 the largest medieval festival of europe takes place in landshut, it´s called the "Landshuter Hochzeit" (landshut wedding in english) landshut is also a very beatifull town, with lot´s of medieval buildings

@ALM587 Im still trying to figure that out. Which is why I'm planning on vacationing to Germany in a few years once I have the money for it, and stay a month possibly travel the country to make sure that I actually enjoy the country even before I move - dont want to make the mistake of moving there and end up hating Germany. I'm thinking about the east side of Germany? Like Liepzieg maybe idk... I would have to find any distant relatives first before making a crucial decision
