Man... I'm drooling for that Big Boy. You see, I'm only 15 years old, but I have a passion for train modelling and trains in general. That's a bit strange considering there are no railways and trains here in Malta. But it's so expensive! I have to wait until I'm much older, and I have a job and I can actually afford this hobby. I love the huge 40's steam engines, and the 4-6-6-4 Challenger is my favourite. Of course, the Big Boy is awesome. I can't WAIT until I'm older =[

Nice video, I had trouble programing my AC6000 sound decoder. Had to turn down the horn volume, after awhile with it at max 15 it gave me a headache. lol

I can't believe you're running these things on carpet! Aren't you worried about getting fibers in the motors?

I have a bachmann tracks & my autoracks & automax keep derailing at the curves, how do i keep it from derailing?
-
The up big boy and the stock/reefer cars behind make it look very classic and like one of those old time western trains.

Did you have any problems with the 6000's?

The only problem I've had is something that seems to just be a problem with the BlueLine decoders. The sound system occasionally mutes in the reverse direction, but other than that, they run fine. Just need a little breaking in at first.

What radius curves were your locomotives negotiating? Are you using Bachman EZ track?

In this video its 28'' Bachman EZ track, but I just recently got some 35.5'' curves, and it looks a bit better.
