As much as I liked this dude, if LA had kept him in 09, LA would have had to spend too much money on him cause of his stupid agent. That means we would have lost either Odom or Bynum. They had no choice but to pick up Artest cause he was offering to get signed for lesser money than Trevor.

okkay but we prolly wouldnt have needed a game 7 in the first place with ariza, ariza fit so perfectly with the lakers defense and offense, he brought energy to the defensive side too. but yeah i just dont like artest at all. i watch him in games and he misses so many open shots that kobe creates for him and he misses all the time.

trading ariza for artest is why we didnt win this year and had so much trouble winning boston last year, ron didnt contain pierce at all, ron just suxs his defense doesnt make up for his mediocre offense at all.

that being said, without artest i'm not sure LA would have been able to contain paul pierce in the 2010 finals
