  • @Eddyisrich403 agreed

  • Rest in Peace RF&P You where a good railroad company

  • I always know I'm close to DC when the train crosses that bridge. If your on the optimal side you can look over and see US 1 and I-95.

I also know I'm leaving the south.

  • These are really some awesome videos, thanks e44.

  • It doesn't get better than this!

  • Also how sweet to see a train without the massive trash of 21st century graffitti!

  • The good ole days - when there weren't idiots who felt compelled to "tag" (vandalize). So used to it now that it's shocking to see there is no graffiti on the cars.

  • Ah, the old days when trains still had cabooses. I don't think they look right without them.

  • Yeah, pretty much, except for the part where the RF&P takes it to B-more and CR taking it to NY. The Seaboard takes it from Bradenton, FL to Richmond, VA, where the RF&P takes it from there to Washington D.C., and then Conrail takes it from there to Kearny, NJ.

  • the "juice train" trumped everything except passenger service-- the southern trains would be delayed sometimes an hour or more
