Video footage of the 25th Yabusame in Asakusa, performed at Sumida Park, just blocks from Sensoji Temple. The procession plus all the shooting took over 120 minutes - this is just a taste.

Spectacular video of a spectacular sport! This is why Japan will always be better than America: they keep their culture alive, whereas Americans will drop bits and pieces of their culture the very second it becomes inconvenient.

I would die to actually get to watch this in person.

totally understand... we went way out of our way to go to this yabusame in asakusa. it generally only happens once a year, so we were quite lucky to get to see it!
