Can't wait for the new Lenny Breau documentary- still having trouble finding a clean copy of the original "Genius of" doc- hope it will get re-released soon.
Speaking of James Burton, I feel his playing, although stylistically different than Lenny Breau's, has many commonalities- immaculate phrasing, sense of style, conversational quality, sense of space and timing.Recommended listening: Emmy Lou Harris "Ooh Las Vegas" "Jambalaya" Elvis "Mystery Train/Tiger Man", "See See Rider", etc.
