@MsPixiebaby you've had had a snow three years on the row so you shouldn't be surprised and you cannot say it was unexpected. There are shovels in the Woodies and winter tyres in Germany and a salt in Tesco. Be ready it's always by December you know the 12th month.

I've bought a winter tyres from Germany and can drive , my neighbours call me dramatic but I can drive they're grounded , who is the winner??? At least don't youse start from 1st gear on the snow... Please be smart:)

@johnet326 Personally, I would use chippings because they are plentiful, easy to spread and give better traction. Although salt is always the preferred option, we have to import it. I guess we could import tyre chains instead :)
