Thoughts on extroverts, introverts, ambiverts... shyness, shells & introspection. Inspired by "Caring for Your Introvert" by Jonathan Rauch (Atlantic Monthly) http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200303/rauch
ESTP, ISTP
(I don't really wish to be left alone. It's just a catchy title)

This was a test run for a video I already released. I've come to prefer this version, aside from the fact that I slur my words too much.

  • Well said. I really find it amazing how irreconcilable the two positions of extroversion and introversion really are (provided they are at the more extreme ends of the spectrum). The extrovert can't stand to be alone, and the introvert can't stand not to be. Bizarre, how we humans are.

  • very good points made. If i remember correctly majority of the world is extroverted, introverts are the minority. It always surprises me when people bring up that i am quiet, which my sarcasim comes out and i bring out do you that most extroverts have a hard time being quiet for even a little while.

People need to stop and rethink about these standards and ask themselves do they really apply.
