Visit to Sea Shepherd London part1 9-2011

Visit to the Steve irwin and the Sea Shpeherd orgnaisation when they docked on the Thames in London just before a refit to go on the next Japanese anti whaling mission.

We were given a provate tour of the ship and were allowed to mooch around because we came onboard with a member of crew. Iot to sit in teh captains chair and we spent som time in a very friendly crew members cabin - Laura - who is a loving cook of the crews vegan food. They fed us - we got some great photos and in the evening we stepped onto the HMS Belfast - a decomissioned warship which the Steve irwin was moored next to. The Sea Shpherds had a VIP and supoporter party onboard to thank fundraisers. I got to meet Adam Ant, Hawkwind and Bill Oddie.

We even got Cap Paul Watson to sign our stomper board along with many other crew members and this will be auctioned soon to raise more money for Sea Shepherd.

Thanks to Paul and everyone else for the brilliant day and we hope the money raised will come to good use in the struggle against the Japanese whalers in the Antartic - which has resumed again this year with a 50 grant increas from the japanese Govt to the whalers to continue. Can you believe this.
