Click the battery logo, more power options, change plan settings (for the power plan you're using), change advanced power settings, scroll to power buttons and lid, click lid close action, and change both from sleep to do nothing. :)

can you close the laptop and run an external display.. i cant figure out how??

I have a notebook with i7 and gt335m 7401m.
The very first time I played my FPS's were low and ran it on medium-low
But after days, weeks playing, I managed to put everything in and ran a very high 25-35 fps's
I overclocked GPU and a CPU for overclocking bios

this might be a dumb question but do you have to plug the keyboard and mouse into the external monitor or can they stay in the laptop?

@TheSnappleAddict they stay in laptop! You just only add an external monitor to your laptop.

@theskig thank you for the response. Also are you overclocking in bios at all or everything stock? Or you use throttlestop too?
doblaze 11 months ago
@doblaze I tried overclocking from BIOS but no differences (0,5 fps more). The i7 is enough powerful for GTA, the limit is the graphic card.
