This is the 2nd mini Rathatyatra held in Stratford, East London that celebrates over the weekend between 18th and 19th April, 2009. During these two days, they were filled with amazing lectures, plays and prasadam.

HH Janananda Goswami and HH Bhakti Purusottama Swami headed this auspicious festival. The former known for his harinama was not able to do so due to injury to his foot but His Holiness turned the tide by facilitating the play of the King who seeks to see the Lord. As he narrates, every attendees participated with on the spot props that all of us were tatally unprepared for whislt HH Bhakti Purusottama Swami who originates from Puri, shared with everyone the pastimes of Sri Jaganatha.

Meantime, the attendees were entertained with the like of HG Tribangananda and HGRupavillas prabhus (both are Srila A C Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada's disciples) lectures, kirtan by HG Gaura Gopal (Chowpatty), ISKCON Birmingham headed by HG Nitai (Birmingham temple president) providing kirtan group and the wonderful prasadam prepared by the local devotees.

On the day of procession, HG Tribangananda and HG Jai Nitai das (Radha London Ishwara temple president) led the kirtan with devotees coming from as far as Wales, Midlands, Guilford and Brighton including several disciples of HDG Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada to celebrates this small but very sweet and auspicious occasion.

The procession departs from Sri Radha Krishna temple at Cedars Road to the streets of Stratford, East London weaving through residential areas as well as the high street with curious onlookers wondering in amazement. A special mentioned to the temple (of different sampradaya) management and devotees for permitted the use of the temple enabling the success of this auspicious event with their Brahmin sportingly joined in the play and kirtan.

Antardwip prabhu (iskconlife online founder) and his wife, Kalanagi mataji from Leicester worked tirelessly for the second year in succession to support this event.

Lastly, th festival event organiser Madha Mohan Govinda das (steering the cart) and his crew worked very hard and were very welcoming to every individual with full attention to the respective needs. He also heads the nama hata within the vicinity of a few towns and also provides excellent lectures on line that can be followed on 'www.iskconlife.org'. A very harwrking person that never stops working and always glorify the Lord. A leader that leads by example. No wonder his team members were able to provide first class Vaisnavas service to everyone regardless of their status. Their impeccable action speaks for itself. I bow down to the lotus feet of this humble devotees.

Jaya Jaganatha! Jaya Baladeva! Jaya Subhara!
