3 1/2" Gauge 16DA No. 877 Blasts away in the darkness...

21.12.08 - 16DA No.877 was brought out for a run in the darkness.
If you listen carefully she sounds fantastic with her exhaust crisp and clear in the cool, evening air.
I've uploaded this video with lower visual quality since the "focal" point
is to listen to her beat throbbing in through darkness...

South Africa had some of the finest steam locomotives the world has ever seen, even Gresley commented on it. My opinion is that SAR Steam comes close second only to American Steam but for 3'6" Gauge our locomotive kick butt!
