Nah, I'm sure Alex makes a decent enough income, but he's not ONLY in it for the money. He's clearly very passionate about the subject.
Plus, he stops the conspiracy before it gets silly like some people. Alex will say the world is run by allied corporations with government mates to give them dodgy tax cuts and stuff... But at least he doesn't go on to say the head of the corporations are actually shape shifting lizard men! xD
