I think the problem of having a fire on your forehead is, in many ways, more than a stroke. It could, for example, set fire to your hair, causing temporary baldness and consequential lack of self-esteem.

There is a very useful Facebook page created to help people be more aware about Stroke.

Its called "Stroke, its more than you think it is"

We had a close family friend who died of a stroke (she had several beforehand). While I did not see the stroke first hand, it was truly upsetting how it affected her before she passed away. She lost almost all her memory and had difficulties talking as she wasn't found for some time initially.
