Ingredients
3 lbs of ground beef
3 Tablespoons Liquid Smoke
3 Tablespoons worcestershire sauce
2 Tablespoons sea salt
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablepsoon paprika
1 teaspoon or more of hot sauce
I use a dehydrator and dry it for
16 hours.
Another method is dry it in your oven.
I have never done that but have read recipes
that call for 2-3 hours of cooking time at 150 degrees.
That does not seem like enough time.
If you don't have a jerky gun as shown in the video you
can lay a larage wad of meat on a sheet of aluminum foil and
use a rolling pin to roll it into a flat sheet to about 1/8 inch
thickness. Put the whole sheet into the oven. When it's
dried then you can cut it into strips.
