There are now lots of resources on the value of finding out what pupils actually think about aspects of their own learning. Good teachers always find ways of encouraging pupils to express their opinions, including those about the qualities of teachers that they respond best to. Here are some examples, where school-students use role-play and descriptions to summarise their viewpoints.
