The first time that I heard "Monarch" and saw this video was when I instantly become a huge fan of Matt and his music.

Man, I recently discovered your music and you definetely rock!
Every time i listen to this song I cry my eyes out trying to take "the love of my life" out of my heart and out of my mind... I'm a 32 yo man who fell in love with another man and I guess I will always love him but unfortunately he is marrying his girlfriend soon. I like to think that I would probably met him in another life and back then we were together.

Beautiful song, and the camera loves you, baby! I like the way this video and The End of the World video show you in banal settings like a barbershop and an office, reminding us that you are a "regular guy" whom we can relate to. I'm a fan!
