"Locked In" Animated Charcoal-Drawn Short Film

After suffering a stroke six years ago, Tony Nicklinson was left paralysed from the neck down and unable to speak. His condition is known as 'Locked-In Syndrome' and now, after years of frustrating helplessness, he wants to die.

This film was inspired by the true story of Tony Nicklinson, and created using William Kentridge's charcoal erasure animation technique, for a final University project.
