Only Germany could stop Argentina - and you done with comfortable ease, something we are grateful for - we all knew you would lose to Spain, which is why something like 85% of bets on that match was for Spain to beat Germany.

All in all, both Euro 2008 and the World Cup were successes - everyone knows England aren't winning anything for a long time - but for Spain to win them both is great.

Bollocks! It was an utter shame that England didn't qualify for the Euro 2008 - the entire world was laughing at us for months! It was absolutely horrible and humiliating.

And at South Africa we were masterfully knocked out by the Germans - who were the much better team and deserved to advance to the quarterfinal to play the shit out of those sneaky Argies. England, as much as I love this country, doesn't have a national football team worth mentioning. Sorry, but it's true, mate.

That was one horrifying night at Wembley. But it was SO worth it to get revenge on Croatia by losing to Ukraine to stop Croatia from going to the biggest ever football tournament.

The Ukraine-England match was not on British TV, so i watched it in the cinema and EVERYONE cheered like crazy when Ukraine scored - we ALL wanted revenge on those Croatia scum bags.

At the end of the day, I would rather not qualify for ten Euro's in a row, than not qualify for just one world cup.

look mate, I don't hate England, it's a strong football nation, but it has the wrong approach when it plays big teams in the world cup.

Attacking football is about building up a play through quick passing and dominating the opposition in their own half. England don't play like this, regardless of how many goals they score.

They hold back and play long balls. They need to be more technically sound in their attack like Brazil and Argentina.
