Parrots searching for a snack get a little out of hand literally .......... these are all rescued birds...each one has it's own distinct personality and style of eating.

In order of appearance : "Murdock" is the Greenwing Macaw, "Ricky" is the moaning Scarlett Macaw (who was rescued out of a drug dealer's garage) "Coral" is the Military Macaw who says "Cracker" (she was dumped off cage and all at the doorstep of the local animal shelter) and "Morgan" is the gentle Mollucan Cockatoo who's owner couldn't keep her anymore (she and Murdock came to me together).

  • I love the way you interact with your great birds! Good job:) Are all of your birds rescued?

  • @EvgeniaZ Hi! and thank you! Yes, all the birds are rescues except for the first bird that I got, named "Elvy", who is a Blue and Gold. At one point I had entrusted with me 16 parrots, and now I have 7. I judiciously have placed them in good homes.

I say "entrusted with" instead of "owned" because I believe that we really do not own animals (or anything else, for that matter) we are simply given the honor or caretaking them for a while :)

  • Great Video! These guys are the lucky ones...as you say on your website: the rescues are overflowing with parrots that have been discarded by their humans because the novelty wore off, they are too loud, too messy, live too long...

Bless you for helping these beautiful feathered guys & gals and giving them such a fantastic home! :>)

  • Thanks :) They deserve more than what I am doing, but at least it's something :)

  • 0:35 damn those redneck Scarlett Macaws! there oughtta be a law! LOL

1:45 hey! its not the size of the beak its what you can do wiff it! dont forget :)~~

    sorry i couldn't resist hahahaha

Happy New Year to U and your kids

  • @MrBinty1440 LOL Ricky is unfortunately slightly retarded, but we love him anyway :)

  • You have quite an amazing household, never a dull moment. Cheers and you have time to do these videos.

  • @SusanEyerAndersonDVM You are such a wonderful person, it's amazing what you are doing for these precious animals!!! Taking care of 7 birds is a lot of work, but I do believe that they give so much back. I agree with you about the annoying word "own".My CAG is sort of a rescue,we saw him in shop,he is older(no1 wants that, only the chicks!)We couldn't let him stay there, took him home with us.My husband is not a animal person, but insisted that we take him.And now we're looking for a new rescue..

  • OMG!!!! I just LOVE this video! Thanks for sharing ;-)

  • Beautiful birds!!!!

  • Aww, I miss being around bigger birds! I haven't been tête à tête with a raptor in almost a year and it's been even longer for domesticated birds. Although, I did find a crow with a messed up leg at college last fall. Now there's a bird I'd love to have as a pet someday (if it weren't illegal...).

  • hahaha those birds are characters!
