Haven't come across another picking technique as good, stable, & consistent as this one.

@stix471 Actually, depending on what kind of recording system and/or cable you use,
if you adopt paul's picking style, lag between your playing and your amp becomes quite annoying, and frankly, common. i know a lot of other youtube musicians and/or players who experience the same thing!

The way i hold my pick differs from ever other way I've seen people hold it! I hold it with the tip of my index finger and the tip of my thumb! I'm pretty sure I developed this way of holding it by playing guitar hero to often
