Burmese artist and activist, Aung Moe Win shares part of his story as a Burmese citizen living in exile from the park outside the United Nations building, where he is seen at a rally commemorating the birthday of Burmese democratic leader, Aung San Suu Kyi on June 18, 2010 in New York, New York.

Not free to speak his voice in Burma and not legally allowed back in his homeland for his relationships with anti-regime activists, Aung Moe Win is a Burmese artist in exile currently residing in New York. Using live performance and visual art as his tools, he demonstrates his solidarity with those still suffering inside Burma and works to create global awareness of the enduring struggle for democracy.
