Yeah, Snake doesn't die watch the credits. Now he's at the cemetery and the real BigBoss(his father) comes behind him and gives him a CQC hug, then tells him to let go of the gun. Then they converse about how snake can live and the without eliminating the defect. Big Boss kills Zero and the craziest thing ever happens. I'm an MSG fan so this was big.

God I felt so sad the first time I saw him and he was so confused and depressed about living in the past hardware that when I finally found out you could get this scene with dual shock I just had to have it.
It is so beautiful to see that psychopathic murderer happy.
