In 500BC there was no such thing as Turkic, Turkic is a mix of people, which the Etruscans were not. The Etruscans are connected to Basque and east Iberian what we call today Georgian, and of course east Iberians were spread in what today we call Turkey. This is where the connection is that they claim is Turkic connection.
