Eisenbahnromantikzug im Schwarzwald, BR 01 Doppelbespannung + BR 50

25. Sept. 2010 Der Eisenbahnromantik Sonderzug fuhr an diesem Tag durch den Schwarzwald. Zunächst in zwei Teilzügen bis Hausach und dann parallel bis Triberg. Dort wurden die Züge wieder zusammengekuppelt und es ging mit drei Dampfloks weiter bergauf, doppelt bespannt mit 01 1066 der UEF und 01 1533 der ÖGEG sowie Schiebelok 50 2740 der UEF. Wetter egal, Hauptsache dabei.

Locomotive 01.1066 has three cylinders, and the other 01.1533-7 has two cylinders. I like very much the sequence of the departure (10:05), when the different chuffing tempos of the two 01 locomotives are perfectly heard.

do these locomotives have a 3rd cylinder in the middle?it looks like some steam is coming out from the middle of the front loco.
