In 2006, tour guide Gordon Polatnick opened a jazz cafe near Harlem's legendary music corners. This is my video of the space, shot in September of 2007.
Gordon Polatnick is a class act who runs a class joint. A generation from now, some new geek will be leading jetpack tours of Harlem and talking with reverence about the legendary Big Apple.
This documentary is timely, informative and historical. While Harlem, arguably, the world's most storied community undergoes a second cultural Harlem Renaissance, the video shows the enormous global impact jazz and African American art forms continue to exert throughout the world.Establishments like this make the music and its history accessible to everyone during the day.
Thanks alot; Great job. a very important sharing
