Gene Skoropowski tells how the Capitol Corridor Trains from San Jose to Sacramento went from 4 to 16 round trips a day. With ridership growth and good service the operating budget for the Capitol Corridor hasn't increased since there were 8 round trips. More trains have meant more riders which meant revenues increased faster than expenses.
