Lyrics:
Flew in from Miami Beach BOAC
Didn't get to bed last night
On the way the paper bag was on my knee
Man i had a dreadful flight
I'm back in the U.S.S.R.
You don't know how lucky you are boy
Back in the U.S.S.R.

Been away so long I hardly knew the place
Gee it's good to be back home
Leave it till tomorrow to unpack my case
Honey disconnect the phone
I'm back in the U.S.S.R.
You don't know how lucky you are boy
Back in the U.S.
Back in the U.S.
Back in the U.S.S.R.

Well the Ukraine girls really knock me out
They leave the West behind
And Moscow girls make me sing and shout
That Georgia's always on my my my my my my my mind.

I'm back in the U.S.S.R.
You don't know how lucky you are boy
Back in the U.S.S.R.

Well the Ukraine girls really knock me out
They leave the West behind
And Moscow girls make me sing and shout
That Georgia's always on my my my my my my my mind.

Show me round your snow peaked mountains way down south
Take me to your daddy's farm
Let me hear your balalaika's ringing out
Come and keep your comrade warm.
I'm back in the U.S.S.R. hey
You don't know how lucky you are boy
Back in the U.S.S.R.

  • @kahuna3901 China is about as much 'communist' as a dolphin is a bluegill. China has many millionares, some billionaires..a growing middle class and limited free enterprise. It is,however, a represive dictatorship...whatever it is it is hardly what Marx had in mind.I am an American socialist who hopes my children will live in social democracy someday here.

  • @kahuna3901 Why would the Chinese worry about the financial crisis? I'm sure they're worrying about far more important things like STAYING ALIVE. If socialism is a good thing then explain why there's never been a country/group that's lasted even 100 years under a socialst govt? The cold war ended when the Soviet Union ceased to exist due to the arms race with the United States (Soviet Union didn't have the money to keep up with the U.S. any longer)

  • @kahuna3901 in the cold war i feel communism didnt fall i feel Starlinism fell

  • @TheFire102 china is communist, they arent exactly worrying about this whole financial crisis. i actually live in europe and it turns out that we like socialism over here. the amount of spelling errors and grammatical inconsistencies in your comment really make us think that capitalism and america is the way forward. no one won the cold war, the fall of communism is a separate matter
