the FROLIC MUGS

some adventure-time-stye mugs i made in ceramics class. they depict my king-pin characters Alger and Ponce being in derp love.

the first one is the best in my opinion. my opus. when i showed it to my teacher he turned it over twice and said, "both their heads AND feet are touching?" and i was like " : 3 yes." and he was like "That's genius." he then told me that for the rest of the semester he wants me to do nothing but make 'canvases' in clay that i may paint pictures on in glaze.

they are done by dipping the bisque-ware in this white glaze then painting on the design in a certain black glaze called 'Val's Black.' the inside black glaze turns blue when you fire it on top of the white. it's called 'Shiggie's black.' our school only fires at cone 10.

also: my camera broke while in 90-degree storage
