The Katz Lion Cub is from the Lion King Series from Katz Knives of Multeoski, WA (previously from Chandler, AZ.
The Lion Cub is 10.6 oz, 9.88 in long, with a 5 1/8 in blade of XT 80 Stee l. This model has the Kraton Handle with diamond checkering but other Micarta and wood handles are available.
@MrMotte62 The knife does quite well at most any bushcraft task . It has plenty of heft for heavier work but is small enough for general camp use. The company does very little marketing but people who own these knives have good things to say about them. I love mine.

I just purchased the Black Kat version. The question I have is how was it's chopping ability?
I am happy with it's carving and the edge. Thanks

The knife handles wood processing and other tasks well and the edge holds nicely. I expect it will outlast me. Great with a firesteel as well. Thanks for your interest.
