The girl is quit young still and her technique will get better with practice, but at least she is keeping herself fit and off the street and learning a form of selfdefence.

the kick is a flick no proper side kick in karate looks like that lol not eyen in Taekwondo a side kick looks like that, as it relates to the dan issue by tradition you are promoted by your training and the number of years equivalent to the dan you are being promoted too, think about it have you ever seen a Grand Master of Karate (10 dan) younger than 40??

Pretty sure a yoko geri needs to thrust and lock.. this is a leg flick.. theres no hip twist here... what so ever.

i was 18 when i got my black belt and 19 now when i got my 2dan.. =)

I think they have to redo there black belts when they are older. But remember what Mr Miyagi Said: "belt for holding up pants"

@Stian1342 I agree with you. But you are 2nd dan and you're only 18 years old? Man, you're a kid too. At least for a 2nd dan.
I got my black belt when I was 23. In my opinion, you should get a dan at each 5 five years. So, if you are 18 and 2nd dan, you got your black belt at age 13? If you got this two belts in a smaller space of time, you haven't time to really understand the belt before.
