@ryanuk1981 That's not what he means, he is referring to a saying coined by Timothy Leary to say that LSD does not cure alcoholism, it cures stupidity. Which is to say it lets you see you are hurting yourself and then you stop that stupid behavior. Addicts arent necessarily stupid people, but addictive behavior is often stupid. Ibogaine and other substances have this potential, but Ibogaine is very powerful.

Because it's a chance. And you really don't 'need' medications..being clean is enough, you take it from there. I know personally that this plant is an amazing thing. The problem is that the government wants addiction..it makes them money. Therefore, we probably won't see it legalized here anytime soon.
