@XdekishiX In that case, then I'd say it is possible to make manga in Japan even though you aren't Japanese, as long as you know how to read and write Japanese. I was just thinking it may be more difficult, but all I can say is good luck.

@ainman1986 Well the thing is that I dont live in america anymore and kind of cant go back because of family issues. Thats why I was asking and my sister has a flat in japan so it would be kind of easier to go to japan instead of korea or any other country but there is no manga where I live right now so I would have to move away anyway

@XdekishiX There's manga that's not from Japan. You can find non-Japan manga (US and Korean) online or at a bookstore that reads left to right (US and Korean format), some are even done in the right to left Japanese format. There's US publishing companies too. You don't have to move to Japan to become a manga-ka.

I think a mangaka really need the internet connection, digital cameras, and magazines as reference, just like me :).
