For one thing. this is the annual caddie day at Augusta, which happened to be on this date 5/30/2005. They give us the carts because we can play from sun up to sun down. If you only got to play Augusta National once a year don't you think that you would take a cart and play all day. The shorts are allowed because we are caddies. Sorry for swearing but I was +1 for the day and hit into back bunker. Ended up shooting 75 from back tees. Not bad for 2 handicap. Thanks for comment

Shorts are OK for caddie day, any other day and you will be asked to leave.
