  • If anyone knows Paul Verner (who worked on lighting with the Pogues), please message me. He was my uncle and I am trying to find more information on him.

  • i love 'the rare old mountain dew', great tune, so is this though.

  • Shane McGowan was born in Tunbridge Wells England. A wealthy stockbroker town. He attended a school for wealthy middle class people until he was 7. On returning from Ireland, he attended an exclusive private school in London he was expelled for drugs. He has a privileged background. His accent is termed Mockney (mock Cockney) A faux London accent used by the middle class to appear more working class credible. A brilliant lyricist . I have been privileged to see him/them from the very beginning
