Jurassic 5 - Quality Control (Dynamic Duo Blend)

oh, how i wish J5 didn't break up..

i've been listening to old dynamic duo albums lately. their 1st album is really the best hiphop album, not only in korea but possibly in the genre of hiphop entirely. usually if i have 2-3 songs that i like, i call that a good album, but in DD's first album there wasn't a song i didn't like except for maybe one or two. and even after 6 years they sound not only relevant but better. than 99% of stuff that's coming out these days. i might have some more blend coming up using their beats

@JYL99 I've been following e-sens since way back when he was featured in 결정's album "sun & shine" and rama's album, etc. simon-d was pretty darn impressive back then as well. unfortunately i've been getting increasingly disappointed by their effort. i'm sure they are still skillful rappers (one of the most talented in korea for that matter), but their 'music' hasn't impressed me all that much.

@visno really? i mean the original was a classic, but when i heard this beat (for like the first time in a few years) i was like 'this has J5 written all over it!' with such funk and playfulness. to me this one felt more lively and crisp. the only thing is that the dynamic duo song didn't have much of their beat riding in the end so it ended up being the same 4 bars looped around the whole song, making it a bit simplistic. anyway, does g-unit still make albums? i stopped caring a long time ago.

They are not korean if u think so (the way u explained was weird). Well I found them 1 year ago and they were one of the best in Hip Hop (mixed with soul/funk/jazz = great)
