I appreciated this radio broadcast and there are some seriously dangerous teachings promoted by some of the names tagged above. But there also seems to be a lot of misplaced fear of encountering God at a deeper level, "mysticism" (Col 1: 26-27, John 16: 13) or strangely of living our faith all day long. Any Christianity which is relegated to only in the church building or during quiet times (that sounds rather mystical are we sure it's ok?) is no Christianity at all, see Matthew 25.

What's the difference between "mysticism" (oh no scary!) and prayer?
Do Nazarine's still believe that entire sanctification is provided by the blood of Jesus, that is instantaneously brought about by faith, preceded by entire consecration?
That sounds awfully mystical to me.
God is alive and He is active in our lives. We can experience His presence, come to know him (to a limited degree) and come to be like Him (with His grace). This has sometimes been described as having a relationship.

As a Trevecca graduate from the seventies, I know that ministerial students were going to The Abby for a week retreat way back then, before the term "Emergent" was coined. I cannot speak to what it may or may not have become. At that time, Paul Tilich at Vanderbilt was very popular among the theology students. Read up on THAT guy! I don't see much difference between the "Holy Hill" I attended and the one of today.

Interesting program. I was completely unaware of this EC movement and didn't know what a problem it was. They might as well become Unitarians rather than destroy other churches, but then again that's not what the plan is. Time to stay vigilant!

@swisscheesehole I suggest you love the word of God more than the "church". We are to "contend for the faith" and that can mean disagreement and disension with "christians". His Word is a "2-edged sword dividing.." The end days are going to be filled with people listening to doctrines of demons. This will be within the church walls as well. In fact, probably especially within the church walls.
