Tornado & storm damage at the Stacks/Fulton Cotton Mill Lofts in the Cabbagetown neighborhood in Atlanta, Georgia. This footage was shot the morning after a devastating tornado hit the area. This is also my former home. Very glad I moved.

Man I live there now. I cant even go home. It fuckin sucks. And they are talking about there going condem the building. and the ringing is the fire alarms. I was there when the storm hit so I heard alot of it.

The ringing? It makes me want to remove my ear drums.

Anyway, it's scary, to see what wind can actually do. I hope the building can be restored somehow, it's always sad when a piece of history is destroyed. Especially since it doubled as homes as well.

Does this area - did they have sirens to warn them to get down, somewhere? I don't think this old brick building would have 'storm cellars' type of safety feature... do y7ou know if everyone got out OK?

To my knowledge, there are not sirens. The area was not prepared for a tornado, so the intensity of the storm took everyone by surprise.

I liked your snow video! Do you know there are cities in a pocket region of Canada (Vancouver, Victoria, White Rock, etc...) that registered a MUCH milder winter season (2009 - 2010) than Atlanta? This is also not a very rare occurrence. Do you need proof? I'd be very happy to furnish proof!

When I lived 2 blocks from here on greenwood, I remember that they removed the tornado sirens and sold them to Marietta, I believe. I thought "good god why would they do that." When I asked, someone said that some politician was making a personal profit off of it. I felt vulnerable being from tornado alley in Missouri, but everyone said there were no tornados in Atlanta.
