Oh god that brick scared the shit out of me.

I remember seeing a production of this and it got to this part and when the emcee sang the last line I could have sworn I heard the whole audience just go "Ah..."
On a lighter note...I would LOVE to be in that monkey suit...

Our emcee tonight gets more and more beautiful the more I see of him. I have to get over this crush...

I love "If You Could See Her." Alan Cummings makes an excellent Emcee.
I also love his facial expressions through-out the whole show. He's so funny!

IT'S ME LOOK!!!!

IT'S ME LOOOOK!
Such an eccentric character. I love it

You know what I find interesting? ...I think Alan's more attractive dressed as a woman than most of the actual women in the kick line! :)

@C9H9NO3 Shit, man, if you're on pain killers, I'd recommend something more light-hearted. Like, I don't know, Hair or something.
-
I swear, this is not the show to watch while on heavy pain killers. Holy shit.

'she wouldnt look jewish at all' .....chilling. god love you alan
Not only is he absolutely lovely and incredibly talanted, but he plays a good Emcee too. The mixture of his childish innocence and the looks of pure wickedness that cross his face! I saw the Cabaret in London a couple years ago and their Emcee was fantastic, hideous and grotesque, but Alan Cumming's Emcee, balanced between the coy mischivious child and the black voyeuristic cruelty of the devil himself, gives the character a depth and mysteriousness which the doll-like Joel Grey never ventured.
