@anima07swe
The orginal voice was more of a whisper. One of my favourite P O songs!

It's a nice song, though I'm not all too fond of those ''speaking'' parts.
5 thumbs up.

@Peaceplatform
I wish I could speak it! lol. I can read much more than I can speak. I wish I knew what the words I didn't understand mean.
It's my favourite language along with Serbian and Swedish.

@BrunhildaUK - thanks for the translations! I'd love to be able to speak Icelandic.

And that concludes my translation! Verse 8 and 9 are just repetitions of verse 4 and 5. Hope knowing the words hasn't put you off the song. It's one of my all time favourites!

Verse 6)
-þegar solin rís
* When the sun rises
Verse 7)
-Grasflóturinn vöknar - blómin signa sig - hverfið heldur kjafti - bara fyrir þig - nátturan er dúndur
* The surface of the grass(?) awake - the flowers cross themselves(?) - the neighbourhood shuts up(?) - just for you - nature is calm/mad (?)

Verse 6)
-Komdu núna með mér - borginn bíður þín í hundraðþúsund litum - eins og draumasyn
*Come with me now - the city awaits you in a hundred thousand colours - just like a vision in a dream

It's still got a mysterious, maybe even sad, feel even knowing the lyrics. Not sure who he's singing about - a partner or someone who's no longer alive. Again a fluent speaker's knowledge would be welcome!

There's a bit more to go. Shall I stop?!
Incidentally the question marks are just for individual words, not the entire sentence!
PS: I'm just a student of Icelandic so if any Icelanders would like to comment on my translations..!
