    Kirov (Mariinsky) Orchestra

  • Why the toothpick baton?

  • 8:20 to the end is freakin beast!!! :D

  • What was that? The Bumble Bee Capriccio?

I recall reading that, at the first rehearsal of this work, the orchestra stood and cheered R-K after the first run-through. That would have been a moment to witness.

Imagine, R-K was a naval officer who wrote music as a hobby. Some people have it all. (Like Borodin)
