SBCC Solar Parking Lot
Ojai Solar and its workers, install solar panels on the West Campus of Santa Barbara City College in Santa Barbara, Calif., on Thursday, July 28, 2009. Ojai Solars president, Christopher Blunt, is one of few solar certified people, who really tries to develop green jobs. He has been in business for almost 10 years, and for solar, thats a really long time to be in business, says Blunts partner Samil Sandoval.
With installing the solar panels at the West Campus parking lot, the campus will save about 30% of its energy. Additionally, students will be able to charge their electric cars on site.
