one of my favorate cars

@zszs100 that is because the accord doesn't have nearly as many selling points as a cayenne. Thus they create more standard equipment, so as to gain more sales. I highly doubt that you would buy a cayenne for its blutooth system.

@friendlytaipei The Porsche Badge makes the difference.

the interior kinda looks like the interior in the new toureg (yes I know they are basically the same underneath
-
could u review the M-class please....
-
still based on a touareg ... or the touareg is based on the cayenne ... they look so similar from the side that i think the doors might actually be interchangeable... either way a very expensive VW ;) not that this is a bad thing ... of course you can always get the same amount of quality in the touareg for less money ... wouldnt be quite as fast though ...;)

Good review. But there is one but, concerning the car. It should not be in diesel version, even though it'll do a lot mpg. Just because it's a porsche the performance one should get must be at its best.
I enjoy these reviews, but do wonder about the fascination of carrying a 2 litre bottle of water as one of the requirements of a car! :)
Also, I think something that a car reviewer can add that has real value is to make more explicit comparisons to a car's competitors. Especially with high-end models. Of course a Porsche has a good engine, steering etc. So does a BMW X3, or X5. So what are the real trade-offs of one model against another? not which is better, just how they are different.

@friendlytaipei Hi, Mat from CarBuyer here. I appreciate the videos are samey, but they are supposed to be as it makes it easy for people to compare models. You'll notice they are broken into two sections – the good points followed by the the bad points. This lets people quickly decide if a car is right for them. Please note in this video I say the Cayenne handles as well as you can expect an SUV to, which implies it corners better than the competition (X5, X3, RR Sport etc). Hope this helps.

@carbuyer Hi Matt, could you please advise how tall you are? From the video it appears that you are about the same height as the cayenne - which I see is listed as 1705mm (around 5ft 7). I do seem to remember (I maybe wrong) you saying in an earlier review that you are about 6 foot. This reason I ask is to get a better idea of the knee room for taller people. I'm 6ft 3 & have two teenage boys who are almost my height

@gulello Hi Mat here. I'm 5ft10.5ins - that's why in some videos I have said I was 5ft10ins and in others I have said 5ft11ins. I just can't make up my mind!!!

It is hard to invent a completely new plot for every review, even Top Gear struggles with it. But come on, checking glove boxes in a Cayenne? And not even taking it off road? With such an attitude he should continue reviewing cheap hatchbacks. This is one of the worst Mat's reviews, not because it is different but because it is a carbon copy of every other review.

@LeadHammer Hi, Mat from CarBuyer here. I take your point about this video not showing the Cayenne's abilities so watch the one I did for the Auto Express YouTube channel to see it off-roading and even drifting! Please note: these reviews are for our CarBuyer website and focus more on practicality than fun. Anyway the Cayenne is the Porsche for families so practicality is pertinent. And really, more people are likely to use the car's door bins and glovebox than take it off-road. Hope this helps.
