Peggie Perkins Trio - Jazz Man

This track is from the "Sunset at the Zoo" concert at the Santa Ana Zoo, July 19, 2009.
It was one of the hottest days of the year, and this was the finale show for the 2009 concert season. It was a great time for everyone!

Peggie Perkins chose Jazz Man to showcase her talents at her big CD release event, and her version at the Zoo was every bit as huge.
Featuring up front guitar work by Mark Gutierrez, this arrangement by Llew Matthews shows off some pretty fancy keyboard work as well. With Ray Genovese on drums and Peggie's soaring vocals, this was one of my favorite tracks from this show.
