A quick and easy tutorial for creating an anamorphic lens flare for Adobe After Effects.

The audio drifts slightly out of sync as it moves on; sorry about that, it was hard enough to get my software to even get the video right. You should be able to get the gist of it well enough.

  • you are the shittiest tutorial maker ever... you dont tell us what to click on, what to put it at, you dont show us where you clicked.... dont make tuts anymore unless your going to make them the right way.

  • @l337viris Funny, nobody else seemed to have a problem with it. Watch it at HD, and you'll see everything I clicked on and I narrated pretty much every click. The only thing off was the audio syncronization, which I mentioned in the video information and, if you put a tiny bit of thought into it, isn't that hard to figure out.

Therefore, I'm convinced you commented on the wrong tutorial. Don't worry, it happens to the best of us.

  • @l337viris How the fuck can u complain? He showed us exactly how we supposed to to and it worked perfectly u fucking kid !

Boter46, Great job man! it worked perfectly ! =)

  • @mackanmedost Glad to hear it :) If you post the result to YouTube, feel free to mark it as a video response or at least link to it in my comments here!

  • how would u apply this to a video, soz im kinda noob at this

  • @Mrgunnybunny Ah, I didn't go over that, did I. Motion tracking can be kind of a bear; I'd look up tutorials on that You *can* keyframe the "Position" transform and drag it around by had on different frames, but most often a motion tracker - even AE's built-in one - will give you smoother results.
